This February, Hallie Bahn '19 and alum Leslie Barlow '16 were selected to be featured in the 2019 Wintertide Biennial. The Biennial was produced by Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association (NEMAA) and facilitated and hosted by Public Functionary. From NEMA: "Wintertide was created to highlight NEMAA member artists’ high level of professional artistic capability. Juried Biennial Exhibitions are an important instigator in the discovery of exceptional work of emerging, mid-career and established artists based on a competitive jury process." This year, the Wintertide selection process included a studio visit with one of the four jurors. Bahn and Barlow were both chosen by juror John Schuerman, an independent curator and gallery director.
