This January, 2nd-year MFA students Heather Lamanno '19 and Hallie Bahn '19 presented their multimedia collaborative installation Underpinning, at Gallery 148 on MCAD's main campus. "Underpinning" explores the relationship between architecture and authority, utilizing scale, animation and construction materials to investigate the invisible implications of design and the ways in which architecture is used to control both physical access within a space and access and understanding of information."
