Luisa Rivera Nahrwold (Illustration '15) had an incredibly busy summer in 2014, here is only a partial list of her accomplishments. Congratulations on such an eventful couple of months! - The 9th 100 Artists Exhibition, Ouchi Gallery (New York): The images are part of the ninth version of the collective show titled 100 Artists Exhibition, that took place in Ouchi Gallery, New York during June 2014. - Había Una Vez magazine: A collaboration done for Había Una Vez magazine (Chile), about the end of the boundaries between art and illustration. The article talks about how illustration has been overshadowed by Academia, however this discipline has found its own strategies to emerge. - Oxford American magazine: This is an illustration for Oxford American Magazine featuring a colorful portrait of Shakespeare that accompanies an essay written by Eric Ormsby, "a poet, a scholar, and a man of letters," reflecting on his life as influenced by Shakespeare. - Northern Spark; 15-Minute Art Class - The Illustrated Rorschach Test: glimpses from the 2014 Northern Spark 15-minute art class. - An article about Luisa published on VisteLaCalle (Chile), both in the printed and online versions. - A series of Luisa's work was printed and selected as part of the winners in the Creative Quarterly 34 publication (right hand side of the spread).
