This June, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design hosted "Continuum: McKnight Visual Artist Fellows 2014–2018", a show featuring thirty-one of the forty artists who have been awarded these prestigious fellowships between 2014 and 2018. From the fellowship, "The fellowship changed its programming structure in 2014 to focus on expanding the fellows’ network by inviting six national curators and art critics to the Twin Cities for individual studio visits. Out of these conservations, the McKnight Visual Artist Discussion Series was established, featuring two fellows paired with a curator in dialogue about their work and broader contemporary art ideas and concerns. This public presentation replaced the culminating group exhibition that was last hosted in MCAD’s main gallery in 2013. Continuum: McKnight Visual Artist Fellows 2014–2018 provides five years of fellows a platform to share their work with viewers and celebrates the ambition and diversity of their artistic practices."
