On Friday, December 7, 2018, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design Master of Fine Arts program hosted our annual Open Studio Night event. People from throughout the community came to explore the work of the newest generation of emerging talent, meet the artists, and get a behind-the-scenes look at their studios and artistic process. Attendees of the event enjoyed work from thirty-two students across a variety of disciplines including animation, comic art, drawing, filmmaking, furniture design, graphic design, illustration, installation, painting, paper and book arts, photography, and printmaking. The evening included refreshments, a printmaking workshop, a GIF exhibition, and an immersive performance piece. We would like to offer special thanks to all of our generous in-kind donors Kowalski's Market and Minuteman Press, MCAD Academic Services and MCAD Public Safety for their help and incredible presence throughout the night, and everyone who stopped by throughout the evening to say hello. Thank you everyone! Photography by Hallie Bahn and Yi Wan. For more information: Open Studio Night 2018 Sneak Peak Categories All Events Open Studio Night Student Activities
