MCAD alumnus Aaron Draplin, who is a featured speaker at the annual AIGA conference recently gave a roundtable meeting at MFA program. Total 11 MFA students attended and shared their work to Draplin. Draplin left his midwestern roots and headed west after he graduated from MCAD. He worked first as the art director of *SNOWBOARDER* magazine and then as senior designer for Cinco Design Office in Portland, Oregon. In 2004, Draplin successfully launched his own company and continues to work with a range of partners, including Coal Headwear, the Union Binding Company, Absinthe Films, RVLR Apparel, Nemo Designs, and many more. Draplin also spoke at the Head, Heart, Hand: AIGA Design Conference 2013 at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Saturday, October 12.
