Studio visits with professional artists are a regular feature of the MFA program. Recently, we had Nicole Soukup in some of our graduate studios to discuss their work, to give them insightful feedback and to speak about the world of curation. Soukup is the Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art and Minnesota Artist Exhibition Coordinator at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and has assisted with numerous MIA exhibitions, including “More Real? Art in the Age of Truthiness,” “The Sports Show MN,” and “Sacred.” Here below, are some photos from the studio visits.
