Ben Moren

Ben Moren is a media artist whose process captures and reframes the environment through filmmaking, performance, sculpture, sound, and custom software systems to reveal and question implicit human centered perspectives. His projects explore human perception, simulation, time and scale shifts, documentation, preservation, and our enduring relationship with the natural environment.

He’s created site specific/responsive projects for Northern Spark Festival, Kulturpark in Berlin, Weisman Art Museum, Mia, IndieCade LA, and Beijing Film Academy. He’s received MNSAB Artist Initiative grants, Forecast Public Art Jerome Planning Grant, and 21/22 McKnight Visual Artist Fellowship. He’s a Professor of Media Arts at MCAD.
