Jason Coyle is a filmmaker and writer who works in documentary and hybrid narrative forms.

He is currently completing Deer of North America, an experimental documentary that investigates contradictory and mythologized relationships between people and deer in the contemporary United States. His recent essay, "Crime Scenes in Suburbia," appears in volume sixty-eight of Senses of Cinema.
