Community-Led Exhibition Spotlights Disability Justice in Twin Cities

Opening at the Mill City Museum, The Art of Disability Justice Now is a pioneering exhibition curated by local disabled artists, activists, and organizers, including MCAD’s Learning Center Coordinator May Ling Kopecky ‘22, MFA, Drew Maude-Griffin '21, Jamie Kubat ’20, Zoe Cinel '18, MFA, and Madison Rubenstein ’13. The exhibition invites attendees to engage both in person and virtually.

This initiative showcases current perspectives on Disability Justice, emphasizing inclusivity and community dialogue. Featuring local disability performing artists and a community art project, the opening reception aims to foster meaningful discussions about the transformative power of Disability Justice.
