User Experience (UX) Basics Workshop (online) | Minneapolis College of Art and Design

User Experience (UX) Basics Workshop (online)

Explore user experience in the digital and physical design worlds.

Learn about the importance of preliminary research, testing during the process of developing a design, and how to test and analyze existing designs. Explore user experience (UX) roles and the artifacts they contribute during the user-centric digital design phase(s) such as wire framing, paper and clickable prototyping, card sorts and other testing methodologies.

Discover how UX can be utilized in a variety of settings and have a better understanding of how UX is used in product development. This course is for those exploring new career opportunities, those interested in learning what user experience is all about, and/or those that are wondering whether MCAD’s User Experience (UX) Design Professional Development Certificate is right for them.

Please note that this is not a lab-based class. This class is not a prerequisite to MCAD’s User Experience (UX) Design Certificate.

Open to students ages 18 and above. Review complete policies, including class cancellation policies, before completing your registration.
