I am excited to make comics and zines currently, it brings a narrative that I enjoy working with that satisfies my love for character design and story. In addition to that, I also look forward to painting; I would like to create a series of paintings that draw heavily from my childhood and the relationships I've developed, using memory and photos for reference. What are your hopes/goals for your senior year? And beyond? My goal is to use illustration and comics to develop a look based on either my favorite book or my own characters. Regardless, it will heavily feature character design, environment drawings, and comics. This will be my visual development project, as I hope to be a character designer for animated films someday.
